Peter Spoelstra

PhD researcher

Peter Spoelstra is a PhD candidate at Education Lab and ACLA (Amsterdam Center for Learning Analytics) and is affiliated with Maastricht University. His doctoral research focuses on the teacher shortage in the Netherlands, where he uses his background in econometrics to approach this issue quantitatively, including the use of CBS microdata.

Before his PhD research, he studied econometrics and behavioral economics at Erasmus University. Between graduating and starting his doctoral research, Peter worked as a Data Analysis Consultant in Amsterdam.
