Stan Vermeulen

Senior Researcher

Stan Vermeulen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University. From 2014 until 2018, he was a PhD-candidate at the Department of Economics in the Economics of Education group at Maastricht University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in International Business at Tilburg University in 2011, and graduated with highest distinction from the Human Decision Science Master’s program at Maastricht University in 2014. His research interests include teacher labour market outcomes, teacher quality and professional development, the impact of COVID-19 on student outcomes, and various other topics with the Economics of Education.
