How do we look at the quality of education? In our conceptual model we highlight several viewpoints on determining quality.
The Dutch educational system offers a lot of space and options for children in the 6th grade to choose a secondary school that suits their needs. But what factors play a role in this choice? Do children and their parents base their choice of school on factors such as educational quality, or rather on travel distance and social stratification? In this study we investigate which factors play a role in the choice of grade 6 pupils for their secondary school.
