Bas Aarts

Junior researcher

Bas Aarts is a junior researcher at Maastricht University’s Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA). He obtained two Bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees in Education, including the Master’s in Evidence Based Innovations in Teaching at Maastricht University. Bas worked as a teacher for 15 years in education, mainly in secondary vocational education. In addition, he was a member of the construction group for the Dutch 2F exam at CITO. Currently, Bas is working on various alumni surveys that focus on the transition from education to the labour market and he is a team member of the National Cohort Research Education (NCO).
