Chris van Klaveren is Full Professor Empirical Methodological Innovation at Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam

Chris holds a PhD in Mathematical Economics from the University of Amsterdam. He is Professor Empirical Methodological Innovation at the department Clinical Psychology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is director of the Amsterdam Center for Learning (ACLA) and EducationLab and served as a researcher at the World Bank in Washington DC. In his current research he combines causal and predictive methods, as well as insights from clinical and behavioural psychology to improve social science research.
