Martin Bootsma

Teacher and team leader of the Alan Turingschool

Martin Bootsma has been a primary school teacher for over 25 years. After studying political science, he opted for education. In 2011 Martin was Teacher of the Year in primary education and from 2011-2014 member of the jury Excellent Schools. Martin is co-founder, team leader and teacher of the Alan Turingschool in Amsterdam. Writes blogs about (reading) education and is co-author of the books And what if we just started teaching again? For primary (2018) and secondary education (2020).
