Rolf van der Velden

Rolf van der Velden (1955) is Professor of Education and Occupational Career at Maastricht University and director of the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market. He is a fellow at Maastricht University’s Graduate School of Business and Economics (GSBE) and fellow at the Amsterdam Centre for Learning Analytics. Together with Carla Haelermans, he is coordinator for the Netherlands Cohort Study of Education. He has led several (inter)national projects in the field of transition from school to work (including the REFLEX project) and is one of the coordinators of the international PIAAC project.
